QUEEN CITY SPORTSPLEX

RENTAL & FACILITY USE POLICIES

The following rules and regulations have been established for the benefit of all users of the Queen City Sportsplex to assure the safe operation of the facility and to provide enjoyable recreation for all.  Patrons are required to cooperate in observing these rules and to obey the instructions of the Queen City Sportsplex staff. Failure to follow the Rules and Regulations could result in serious injury and / or ejection from the Queen City Sportsplex, without refund and / or temporary / permanent suspension from the Queen City Sportsplex.

Queen City Sportsplex reserves the right to refuse admittance into the Facility when the capacity of the courts/rinks has been reached or when otherwise deemed necessary for the health, welfare, or safety of the patrons. The Manager on Duty and designated assistants are responsible for the operation of the courts/rinks. Their instructions must be followed at all times. Should disagreement arise, patrons are advised to contact the Director of Court Operations at 513-505-9813 or Director of Facility Operations at 513-483-0220.


GENERAL FACILITY RULES

·All guests use Queen City Sportsplex at their own risk.

·No one is permitted in court or rink areas unless the facility is officially open and staff are on duty. Unauthorized entry may be treated as trespassing.

·All persons must pay the appropriate admission fee or present valid proof of membership or authorized entry.

·Children under 12 must be accompanied by a guardian age 16 or older who is responsible for direct supervision at all times.

·Receipts are not valid for re-entry. Patrons must obtain an official re-entry pass to return the same day.

·All sales are final. No refunds will be issued for admission fees.

·Smoking, vaping, and e-cigarettes are prohibited anywhere inside the facility.

·Recording or photographing unrelated individuals without consent is prohibited, except during organized public events.

·Queen City Sportsplex reserves the right to inspect bags, packages, and containers.

·Loitering is prohibited on facility grounds, inside the building, or in the parking lot.

RENTAL TIME POLICY

·Rental time begins and ends exactly at the times reserved.

·Early access is not permitted unless approved in advance.

·All participants must vacate promptly at the end of the rental period.

·Setup and teardown of equipment occur within the reserved rental times.

OVERSTAY & OVERTIME POLICY (ICE & COURTS)

·Groups must fully clear the surface by the scheduled end time.

·Overtime is billed in 15-minute increments at 1.5x the standard hourly rate.

·Additional staffing or delay fees may apply if the next renter is impacted.

·Repeated overstays may result in suspension of rental privileges.

ICE RINK RENTALS

·Only approved skates and proper protective equipment permitted.

·No food, beverages, gum, glass, or non-ice equipment on ice surfaces (water permitted).

·Ice resurfacing (ice cut) is included within your scheduled rental time and does not extend rental time.

·Queen City Sportsplex is a curfew rink. All sessions must conclude by designated curfew time.

COURT RENTALS

·No tape, adhesives, or floor markings without written approval.

·Only non-marking athletic footwear permitted.

·No food, beverages, gum, glass, or non-court equipment on playing surfaces (water permitted).

·Access limited to reserved courts only.

HEALTH & SAFETY POLICIES

·Unsafe, disruptive, or abusive behavior is prohibited.

·Intoxication, fighting, harassment, or abuse of staff or patrons will result in removal.

·Running or unsafe conduct in spectator or common areas is prohibited.

·Law enforcement may be contacted when necessary.

·Participation is at individual?s own risk.

FOOD & BEVERAGE POLICY

·No outside food, beverages, or coolers permitted.

·Concessions available on-site.

·Exceptions: water, baby food, and necessary medical supplies.

DAMAGE & LIABILITY

·Renters are responsible for damages caused by participants or guests.

·Queen City Sportsplex is not responsible for lost or stolen property.
